"When I say, “I love you,” it’s not because I want you or because I can’t have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I’ve seen your kindness and your strength. I’ve seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are."
Well, here we are again.
Here’s a list of songs that would help to describe all the different things going on in my life.
1. Unsaid - The Fray
You were the one person who would always make me smile. Not because you tried hard to make me fall in love with you; but because every single thing about you was perfect in my eyes. I never fully knew how lucky I was to have someone like you in my life. They say you’ll never forget your first love; well, its been much to hard resisting the urge to pick up the phone and call you. I’m sorry.
2. The Ice Is Getting Thinner - Death Cab for Cutie
This reminds me of that moment in a friendship when you can’t help but be sad. Sad because you’ve finally reached that point you knew was always at the horizon. You’ve come so close to finally having what you wanted only to have time pull it away from you. You drift apart and all those happy memories fade away into distant yesterdays.
3. Just Breathe - Pearl Jam
I’ve come to realize something very, very important in my life. I’m surrounded by the most amazing people. The best of friends, family, and strangers. I’ve always been one to quickly place my trust in others. I want to grow old surrounded but these wonderful human beings.
4. Clark Gable - The Postal Service
Know that awesome feeling you get when you think about meeting that perfect person? Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say.
5. Happy Accident - Jason Reeves
I have a couple of friends whom I would consider myself very close to. I love how life made us all cross paths. Life could’ve been very different without them, and it would’ve easily not have happened if I wasn’t so lucky.

Here are some other songs I’d like to add to the list. I’ll leave the reasoning up to you to figure it out.
Modern Man - Arcade Fire
Swallow It - Brandon Flowers
Pura Vida - Braddigan
If You Ever Come Back - The Script
Marked Man - Mieka Pauley
"We can either choose to cross that bridge when we get there, or we can just go ahead and burn it to the ground. Either way, we’ll be taking sides."
You’ve changed me, and you certainly made a dent in the universe.
I’ll miss you Steve.

Perhaps my greatest weakness during this hour at night is an uncomfortable pillow and a mind full of thoughts. Actually, I’ll allow myself the freedom and say this is true for many people.
I’m halfway through my college career; well, almost. I enjoy my two part-time jobs, my classes are interesting, and every day I’m reminded about the wonderful people around me.
I suppose there exists no purpose to this post; but let’s say somewhere within it, it has some authenticity.
Let’s just say I’m excited for what’s in store. And let’s just say I’m ready.
How about we stop saying, and we start doing. In fact can do it together.
Next time you see someone in need, provide them with assistance. Remove yourself from the equation and do it for no other motive than to make someone else’s life better.
Embrace the silence. Nowadays, we’re too caught up in what’s going to happen next, how we can get our fix with social media, and we’ve gotten too used to talking and not listening. Promise yourself to allow your heart to say what your mouth cannot.
And now it’s time for bed. So I’ll provide one more thought, even if all of this has been rather repetitive.
Recognize what makes others special. Next time you’re with someone, see if you can narrow down what makes them truly unique. Figure it out and then compliment them on it. Most of the time, people aren’t complimented on the small everyday things they do. Make them smile, and you’ll be smiling as well.
“Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods” -Aristotle
Too many people stand idly by as the excitements of life pass by them. Cause as much happiness in the world as you can possibly create. It’s contagious and it’ll change the people and the world around you.
So, the spring semester of my Sophomore year is now underway. I’m truly enjoying the classes I have and I can already tell this will be the semester where I truly develop myself more as a young professional.
Well, I know I haven’t kept up with my blogging so I hope this summarizes everything that’s been going on in my life in the past month or so. I thought it would be fun to do this in a playlist fashion.
Now, this may surprise you, I keep a physical journal in which I write in daily. I’ll go ahead and share the contents of this journal, for the events that have happened in the past couple of days, in sequential order.
I will only pick songs I currently have on my iPhone.
